Role-playing games

A role-playing game , often abbreviated to RPG (from the English role-playing game ), is a game in which players take on the roles of one or more characters and, through conversation and dialectical exchange , create an imagined space where fictional events and facts occur, in a narrative setting that may be inspired by a novel, a film, or another creative, historical, realistic, or purely fictional source. The rules of a role-playing game indicate how, when, and to what extent each player can influence the imagined space. The most famous and long-running example of this type of game is undoubtedly Dungeons & Dragons. but it's not the only one. Pathfinder is another recent example, and there are, in truth, many other titles currently on the market.
